fieldtrip! NCECA in Philadelphia
This year's NCECA conference was in Philadelphia: only a four hour drive from Berryville. It wasn't in my cards this year to attend the full conference, but I was able to make it up to the city to check out a few galleries and surprise a friend for her birthday.

I was told by a couple of friends from CSB|SJU that I missed some great speakers at the conference, but I would consider the trip a success anyway based on a) the response of my surprise appearance, and b) a few art pieces that got me jazzed up to make work.
I have been searching for new forms to broaden my range of work with coils and was very pleased to find several sources of inspiration throughout the day.
